Local Repair Shop Attends ATRA’s PowerTrain Expo
San Antonio, Texas – Glen Burnie Transmissions attended the Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association’s (ATRA) annual Powertrain Expo on Thursday, September 9 through Sunday, September 12, 2010 at the San Antonio Convention Center. The Expo featured technical and management seminars that introduced the latest repair methods and industry trends, with topics ranging from running an eco-responsible shop to employee hiring and training.
Technicians and service writers in attendance, including Glen Burnie Transmissions, also had the opportunity to be re-certified through technical testing, making sure each shop keeps with the organization’s standard of repair excellence. Extracurricular activities included a charity golf tournament and a downtown tour of San Antonio.
“Attending the Powertrain Expo was an excellent decision on our part, as we learned a great deal from the most experienced technicians and executives ATRA has to offer,” said Glen Burnie Transmissions. “We feel that we are now even more equipped to provide Baltimore, MD with the outstanding transmission repair it deserves.”
